In this example the Health Care Provider and the Consumer are on complete opposite sides of the diagram! With this proposal our providers will have to use tax payer dollars to take several language classes. Not only will the federal government have their hands in your health care, each state will also have their a place in the process.
The Verdict: SOUR!
Have you been to the DMV? Do you want your doctor visits to become that way? While I agree that we do need some reform to our health care systems and insurance policies I don't feel that the State and Federal Government are qualified enough to manage those systems. Look closely and ask yourself what happened to:
Me, my Doctor, my insurance?
Me, my Doctor, my insurance?
If you don't want to take part in the public option: DON'T.

ReplyDeleteThe biggest problem with this Health Care Bill will eventually be the ONLY option. Private insurance is held to anti-trust, anti-monopoly, and anti-price fixing laws that drive up the cost of their policies. The Public Option will not be held to any of these standards and will be able to subsidize the cost of operations with tax payer money, driving the private options out of business. When you don't have to post a profit (ahem ahem Federal government and public option) then it is easy to undercut the market and drive all competition out.
